Kathmandu, November 13:

The fifth National Conference on Science and Technology ended here today passing a six-point resolution. The conference called on the House to approve of the resolution.

The resolution called on the state to allocate funds for R&D. The conference was organised under the aegis of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology. The conference concluded that the new constitution should have provisions for the promotion of science and technology. The resolution terms Science, Technology and Innovation the catalyst for development and prosperity.
