Kathmandu:

A majority of the CPN-UML’s central committee members who aired their views during the ongoing 15th central committee meeting on Sunday suggested holding the party’s eighth general convention only after an election to a constituent assembly, scheduled for November 22.

The members stressed the need to reach out to the Dalits, women and Janajatis. The meeting is scheduled to resume on Tuesday.
