Kathmandu, November 13:

The Press Chautari Nepal today called for immediate arrest and legal action against the culprits involved in the killing of journalist Birendra Shah.

A meeting of the Press Chautari Nepal also sought public apology from Maoist leadership for Shah’s killing. It also called the government to declare Shah a martyr, guarantee the upkeep of Shah’s family and education of his children, according to a press release issued here today.

A report from Kaski said the Janabhawana Party also demanded the government punish Shah’s killers.
