Call to take Maoists seriously
Charikot, March 15:
Senior leader of the CPN-Maoist Dr Baburam Bhattarai today urged all political parties to seriously consider the poll agendas floated by the Maoists for the formation of a new Nepal.
Bhattarai was addressing a CA election assembly organised by the Dolakha chapter of the CPN-Maoist today in Charikot, the district headquarters of Dolakha.
The Maoist leader said that the republican state to be formed after the constitution assembly polls will terminate all feudal elements.
Bhattarai said some international regressive forces might have barred the CPN-UML from joining hands with the CPN-UML. “The NC and CPN-UML are trying to save the monarchy by talking about introducing a provision in the new constitution to have ceremonial president,” Bhattarai further said.
Speakers of the programme claimed that many activists of the CPN-UML cadres have joined the CPN-Maoist.
