RATNANAGAR: A cyclist died after being hit by a car at Jyotinagar of Chitwan Municipality-12 on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Narayan Adhikari (25) of the same locality.

The car (Ba 14 Cha 5715) heading towards Meghauli from Bharatpur hit Adhikari yesterday evening, the District Police Office, Chitwan said.

Adhikari breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Chitwan Medical College.

Police said that they have impounded the car and arrested its driver for investigation.
