Cases related to family disputes have gone up at Kaski District Court in recent years, as revealed in a press meet today.

District Court registrar Krishna Prasad Nepal said a total of 536 divorce cases were filed as of mid-April of which 415 were settled.

He added that 179 cases related to other family disputes and seven related to domestic violence were filed during the same period.

“Of the total cases related to other family disputes, 172 have been settled so far,”he said.
