Centennial celebrations in Tri-Chandra College

Kathmandu, August 21

Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus celebrated its centennial today amidst a programme organised on the premises of the campus.

Alumni, leaders of the free student union of Tri-Chandra campus, faculty and administrative staff, among others joined the celebrations. Alumni of the campus, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Satya Mohan Joshi, were honoured during the event. Employees and lecturers who retired in the current fiscal were also honoured.

PM Deuba informed that the government would assist the campus in the reconstruction of the campus building damaged by the 2015 earthquakes. “The campus has been facing problems in academic, administrative and economic aspects and we want reforms in all these three sectors to provide quality education,” said campus Professor Hari Prasad Parajuli. The campus was established in 1918.
