Chepangs get internet

RATNANAGAR: Thanks to Green School  Programme, Chepang students at Korak of Chitwan now have access to  internet service, which has brought change in their lifestyle, while  connecting them to the world. The programme is being implemented at  Rastriya Primary School at Charkilla in Chitwan and Swamitar Secondary  School. Raju Acharya, executive director of  Friends of Nature, an NGO  run by the GSP, said Chepang students at RPS and SSS are availing of the  service in various ways. He said children in these schools communicate  with children at a Germany-based primary school and are learning from  them about behavioural changes and conservation. The Germany-based  school provides vocational skills on conservation of environment.
