Damauli, February 26 Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri today pledged that the Nepali Army was ever ready to extend all types of support for effective implementation of the constitution. Inaugurating the three-day Jyamrukkot Mirlung Tourism festival in his home district Tanahun today, Chhetri vowed to provide the necessary support of his force. He also lauded the contribution of the Nepali Army to the task of nation building. He expressed happiness that the festival was being organised in his home district and said that such events would be very crucial to promote tourism across the nation and beyond. He also took stock of local Vidhya Nikunja Secondary School and stressed on delivery of quality education. Paragliding from Mirlungkot has added to the charm of the entire festival. There are 20 stalls of different sectors in the festival. Sushil Bhandari, Coordinator of the festival, said the event was organised to promote internal and external tourism by identifying a trekking route that connected the adjoining Lamjung, Kaski and Tanahun districts.
