SAPTARI: A child was electrocuted at Kushaha VDC in Saptari district on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Shyam Kumar Paswan (12) of Kushaha VDC-5, police said.

The incident took place when Paswan accidently touched a live wire while playing near his house.

Paswan died on the way to Dharan for treatment, added police.
