KATHMANDU: A 10-year-old boy died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle at Basgadhi Municipality of Bardiya district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Prakash Singh Thakuri, son of Prem Singh Thakuri of Basgadhi.

The vehicle hit him at around 8 pm yesterday.

He breathed his last during the course treatment at a hospital in Kohalpur.

Police said that they are searching for the vehicle and its driver.
