Chinese investors ready to build tunnel, says Province 3 CM

Hetauda, May 15

Chief Minister Dormani Poudel of Province 3 today said that Chinese investors were positive about constructing the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani tunnel.

Informing about his achievements during his visit to China in the Provincial Assembly in Hetauda today, CM Poudel said Chinese investors had shown interest in constructing the tunnel. “They are ready to construct the tunnel if Nepal government provides conducive working environment,” he added.

CM Poudel had visited China along with the team of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari from April 24 to May 2. CM Poudel informed the assembly about his China visit, meeting and achievements today. He said the talks with President of China Xi Jinping were held in three different phases.

“The talks will undoubtedly help bring more investment to the country,” he added. He has also signed an agreement on cultivating  sister city relations between Province 3 and Gansu Province during the visit.
