KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday apprehended a Chinese national with US dollars 46,480 and Chinese Yuan 1,600 from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu.

41-year-old Yankun Duwan was intercepted by the security personnel while going through handbag checking at the TIA yesterday, police said.

The Chinese national carrying a passport (G 38776085), was going to board a DrukAir flight to Bhutan.
