CHITWAN: A bike rider died after a bus rammed into a bike he was riding on, in Simaltandi, Khairahani-8 of Chitwan district, on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Krishna Upreti of Rapti Municipality-7 of the district.

According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the bus (Na 5 Kha 8798) collided with the bike (Na 35 Pa 8087) moving toward the opposite direction.

Upreti breathed his last during treatment at the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Bharatpur.
