Chure Samaj disrupts traffic on highway

Sarlahi, July 5:

The Chure Bhawar Ekta Samaj (CBES) obstructed Mahendra Highway in Sarlahi this morning, demanding security.

It disrupted traffic at Karmaiya and Hariwan along Mahendra Highway after a pressure cooker bomb exploded yesterday and left three persons injured.

The highway that was blocked at 7 am was opened at 10 am after Superintendent of Police Dilip Basnet at the Armed Police Forces battalion in Bardibas of Mahottari ordered the security personnel to open it.

CBES Sarlahi president Kumar Poudel said attempts were being made to foil the CA poll scheduled for November 22, adding that it was a matter of concern for those who have faith in democracy. SP Basnet said those spreading anarchy would be booked and no stone would be left unturned to hold the historic CA polls successfully.
