GAIGHAT: Minister for Local Development Purna Kumar Sherma on Sunday said that the coalition government was not in favour of fulfiling the vacant posts of representatives in the civic bodies through political nomination. Stating that the country was entering into federalism, Sherma said,''Elections after the restructuring of the country will have elected representatives in the local bodies.''

He was speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union at Jaljale in Udayapur. Sherma said that the government would control donation drive of various groups in the local bodies soon.
