Hetauda, November 25
Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel today left for Qatar to participate in the ‘One belt, one road’ conference.
CM Poudel, accompanied by Province Minister for Industry, Tourism and Forest and Environment Arun Nepal, flew to Qatar for a four-day visit at 11:00 pm from Tribhuvan International Airport at the invitation of Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani
The conference is being held to mark 30 years of establishment of diplomatic ties between Qatar and China. It is learnt that the discussion will focus on increasing assistance in trade, economy and cultural exchanges.
More than 400 government officials, speakers and experts will take part in the conference. Representatives from Qatar, the USA, the UK, Turkey, Spain and Singapore, among others, will participate in the gathering.
CM Poudel said one belt one road would play a vital role in connecting with the world through land route. He will return home on November 29.
