DAMAULI: Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri was felicitated in his home district Tanahun, on Friday.

Chhetri, who visited the district for the first time after assuming the post of army chief, was felicitated by the locals, VDC Secretary Sunil Lamsal and others, amid a function held at Rampuretar of Chokchisapani VDC.

During the function, villagers demanded blacktopping of a road that connects Dudhekuna to Laudaribhanjyang, construction of drinking water projects, schools and jobs for locals in the Nepali Army.
