DAMAULI: A girl studying Community Medicine Assistant at Gandaki Technical Academy committed suicide in Byash Municipality, Tanahun, on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Junchhaya Sunar, 19. Sunar was found hanging with a shawl from the ceiling in her room.

The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained. The body has been sent to Damauli Hospital for post-mortem.
