Computerised billing
KHOTANG: The District Hospital has become the first in Khotang to operate computerised billing system through software. It has stared offering computerised bills to patients. Hospital Chief Dr Pujan Balla said that the computerised billing system has been operated to make internal transactions more visible. “The system has also made things easier for service seekers in the hospital,” he added. He said the hospital has started operating the system 24x7. Sources at the hospital said that the hospital charges Rs 5 for computerised bills. The sources further informed that the hospital has added facilities like surgery for appendicitis and hernia, among others. It is said that the service is being operated 24 hours after the X-ray machine, lab, ECG machines became operational in the hospital.
