BARA: A couple was found dead in Jitpur Simara Sub Metropolitan City-3 in the district this morning.

The body of local Dipak Subedi (36) was found in a field near the cattle farm he owned, while that of his wife Dipika (32) inside the farm, said Inspector Bhuwan Bhatta .

The police suspected the death of the couple to be a murder.

A hammer, iron rod and bamboo were recovered from the incident site, said police.

The couple might have been murdered last night, Bhatta said, adding that investigations were on.
