POKHARA: A couple was murdered in Sardikhola, 20 kilometres north of Pokhara in Kaski on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Priti Lal Gurung, 75, and his spouse Kaish Kumari Gurung, 41, residents of Sardikhola, Pokhara.

The police suspect that domestic weapons were used judging from the wounds of the deceased. The police believe that money was the motive for the crime but are yet to make any arrest. The bodies have been kept at Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara for the postmortem.
