CPN-RM Chair Baidya meets PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: CPN-Revolutionary Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya today met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's residence in Baluwatar, on Sunday.

According to the PM's Secretariat, leader Baidya wished PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman for the CPN Maoist Centre, greetings on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.

The two leaders discussed matters of recent political developments and contemporary political concerns in the country.

Dahal receives birthday greetings from wartime comrades

Meanwhile, Dahal today met injured victims of the armed conflict and inquired about their present condition and accepted their greetings on his birthday.

PM and the then leader of the insurgency rebels thanked all the victims he met today for their participation in the war.

Meanwhile, the injured urged PM to work for the successful implementation of the Constitution and to conduct the elections on time.

He assured the families of the victims to provide them with relief for their losses.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal was born to Mukti Ram and Bhawani Dahal in Dhikurpokhari-2 of Kaski on December 11, 1954.
