CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli today said that his party wanted to maintain social unity and harmony among the people from different communities and regions in the country.

Addressing his party’s election meet in Simara of Jitpursimara Sub-metropolitan City in Bara, Oli said his party treated people from mountains, hills and the Tarai equally. “UML policy is clear about nationality, democracy, social unity and goodwill,” Oli added.

Oli accused some parties of trying to sow the seeds of division among the people for their vested interests. He argued his party would work to bring people of all regions together.

Oli also accused the incumbent government of bypassing good and people-oriented programmes launched during his premiership.
