Crusher industries on warpath
HETAUDA: wners of crusher industries today said that they will hand over all the equipment and vehicles belonging to the industries to the government. The entrepreneurs are handing over them to the government protesting ban, on exporting their products, that was clamped two months ago.
Issuing a press release, Narayani Sand and Stone Union, said that they will intensify their protest programme as the governments failed to resume the export of their products even after the Natural Resources Conservation Committee directed to resume the export after promulgation of some Act regarding the industries.
Claiming that the crusher industries have a total investment of Rs 40 billion, entrepreneurs lamented that they are yet to pay back bank loans.
Manoj Shah, chairman of the union said that the industries provide
employment to some around
100,000 people directly and is
paying Rs 2.5 billion as revenue to the government annually.
