Ramechhap, March 24:

Locals of Constituency No-2 of Ramechhap district have demanded establishment of an Integrated Service Centre (ISC) in their area. The locals said the lack of a centre in the area has been making them difficult to avail the services of government offices.

Organising a general meeting a few days ago, people from Daduwa, Doramba, Tokarpur and Goswara VDCs decided to launch a campaign for the establishment of an Integrated Service Centre in their area.

Bikram Thapa, a local of Goswara VDC, said, “It takes three-day walk from here to government offices in the headquarters.”

A resident of Tokarpur VDC, Jhanka Kandel, said the people of Constituency No-2 had been facing many difficulties as there were only few local government offices in the area. He said the locals wanted the government to be serious about their plight and establish ISC in their area.
