KATHMANDU: A cyclist died after he was hit by a tractor in Gadhawa Rural Municipality-4 of Dang district on Tuesday night, police said.

Local Ram Lal Chaudhary (56) was riding his bicycle along the road when he was hit by the tractor (Ra 1 Ta 370) in Ramnagar at 9:00 pm yesterday, critically injuring him, according to police.

Chaudhary was rushed to Lamahi Hospital where he breathed his last at 1:30 am today during the course of treatment, informed police.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the tractor and search is on for the absconding driver, said Area Police Office, Gadhawa.
