KATHMANDU: A cyclist, who was critically injured in a hit-and-run case in Kotiamai of Nawalparasi, succumbed to injuries on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Suk Ram Barai (45) of Mayadevi in Rupandehi.

Barai breathed his last during treatment at the Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi

He was hit by a motorcycle (Lu Pa 8713) while riding on a bicycle at around 7 pm yesterday, police said.

Police have impounded the motorcycle and are searching its rider who fled the scene after the incident.
