CZOP seeks reuniting of war-hit kids

Kathmandu, September 10 :

National Coalition for Children as Zones of Peace (CZOP) today appealed to all the stakeholders to create an environment to send the children affected by the armed conflict to their homes.

Armed conflict has come to halt but the children affected by the war have not been able to reunite with their families, the CZOP said in a press statement.

It has urged the Maoists and the security forces to make an environment to send the children and not to watch their activities or harass them. It has requested the organisations work for the process of their rehabilitation of the children and make them easily acceptable.

The organisations need to work for the children’s education, health, psychological counselling and livelihood.
