KATHMANDU: A man reportedly committed suicide after killing his wife in Aalitaal Rural Municipality-7 of Dadeldhura district in far-western Nepal on Saturday.

Police said Karan Bahadur Bohora (40) hacked his wife Belamati (36) to death with a sickle.

He allegedly suffered from mental disorder.

Bohora had fled the crime scene after his wife's murder. His body was later found dangling from a tree about 1500 metres away from their house.

Police are investigating further into the murder-suicide case.
