DADO distributes gadgets to Kaski farmers

POKHARA:  Farmers in Kaski district have been distributed mobile phone sets, rain gauges and thermometers by the District Agricultural Development Office (DADO) recently.

In a bid to facilitate farmers in agriculture, the DADO under the Climate Disaster Adaption Building Project, distributed a total of 46 mobile sets and other equipment to 26 agricultural cooperatives and 17 livestock farms.

The equipment provided are expected to resolve most of the agricultural problems that the farmers are facing, said Stuti Acharya, the crop conservation officer at the DADO.
