Dahal-Nepal faction announces fresh set of protests against Oli govt

KATHMANDU: The Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has announced fresh set of protests beginning January 26.

The demonstrations that will take place in various stages and forms across various parts of the country, will continue for two-weeks until February 10.

Spokesperson of the group Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed the members of the press about the protests, today.

Late on Sunday evening, the Election Commission refused to grant a legal status to either of the two factions of the party, which has brought some respite to the Oli faction but has irked the Dahal-Nepal faction.
