DANG: A woman was found dead at Rihar, Satbariya-8 in the district last night.

According to Dhiraj Pratap Singh, Chief at the Dang District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as local Balika Chaudhary (27).

It has been learned that Chaudhary used to run a retail shop in the area.

Based on the preliminary reports, police said that she has been murdered with a sharp weapon.

Police said a knife was found near her body and several blood stains were also seen.

Further investigation is underway.
