The first Provincial Assembly meeting of Province 7 has not yet been scheduled as the team of staffers responsible for managing the meeting is yet to arrive.

The secretariat of Province 7 governor said that the date for the Provincial Assembly meet would be fixed after employees of the Provincial Assembly come.

Chief of Province 7 governor’s secretariat Yubaraj Subedi said that the team of employees required for preparing and managing the Provincial Assembly meeting would soon be arriving in the province from Kathmandu.

“We have been informed that the process of deploying employees from Kathmandu for the Provincial Assembly Secretariat for managing proceeding of the PA meet is under way,” Subedi said.

Provincial Assembly members were administered oath of office and secrecy last Sunday. The oath taking has opened the doors to political parties to elect their parliamentary party leaders and also form the government.
