BHOJPUR: A house was burnt while celebrating Deepawali on Thursday Evening in Biratnagar of Morang district.

The house of Arjun Thapa in Biratnagat-18, made of hay ignited from the oil lamp lit as a ritual for the Tihar festival. The fire also damaged a motorcycle of Thapa, according to East Regional Police Office.

The fire was extinguished with the help of locals, said police.
