DHANGADHI: enior leader of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli today said that the recent remarks of the ex-King former King was a pre-planned one. He added that Gyanendra Shah’s remarks proved that regressive forces were hatching conspiracies against the achievement of the Janaandolan-II.

Speaking at the convention of UML area no-6 in Kailali, Oli said, “It is just an emotional remark that monarchy is still in existence.” He added, “It is a pre-planned conspiracy of the regressive and the reactionary forces in the name of religion, however.” He said that regressive and reactionary forces were still active in the country. He said Shah’s remarks were illusionary.

Regarding the present political situation he said, “The situation would have been worse if the CPN-UML had not led the government.’’ He also accused that the Unified CPN-Maoist was not serious about the country. He added, “The UCPN-M is like boiling milk and has no future.’’ He further accused the Maoists of threatening as they hold a standing army.

Oli accused that the Maoists have ruined communist ideology. Claiming that UCPN-M chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is a fool he said, “A fool gets angry if somebody gives him good suggestion, same is the case with him.” He also claimed that his party had been trying to bring the Maoist into the political mainstream.
