Deubas peace plea


Hetauda: Nepali Congress stalwart Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday offered the UCPN-M the option to join the present government and urged to abandon their “people’s revolt”. Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union-Makawanpur in Hetauda, Deuba said, “The political parties should not lose confidence of the people by changing the government frequently,’’ adding,’’ We should focus on statue drafting process now.’’ Stating that the new statue should be promulgated only after bringing the Maoist combatants under the government’s control, he said, “The statue will be drafted within the deadline.’’ Deuba maintained that there was no ideological difference among NC leaders he said, “It is wrong to say that NC would split.’’
