MAHOTTARI: An outbreak of diarrhoea at a Dalit settlement at Dhabauli in Jaleshwar Municipality-13 has affected the life of people in the settlement.

A child has died and 52 others have been affected by the disease at Dhabauli, said the District Public Health Office sources.

The deceased is a two-year-old daughter of Shrawan Sada at the settlement.

The DPHO sources have stated that the cause behind the disease outbreak was consumption of polluted fish by the locals.
