Dishonest teacher to be sentenced for three months
KATHMANDU: The Special Court today convicted a teacher of Sushil Kedia Bishwo Bharati Higher Secondary School for leaking out the question paper of grade 12 examination held by the Higher Secondary Education Board in April last year.
Ajaya Kumar Yadav, the teacher, was convicted of leaking out the question paper. A two member bench of Judges Gauri Bahadur Karki and Om Prakash Mishra passed the decision today responding to a case filed by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in May of last year. The bench slapped a three-month jail term and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him for the crime.
"Since Yadav was involved in leaking the question paper he deserved this punishment," the bench said.
