Dissident Maoists expelled

CPN-Maoist leader Prachanda today announced the expulsion of Rabindra and Anukul following their yesterday’s statement accusing the party leadership of “demonstrating extra proletariat behaviour” and .

Prachanda, in a statement issued today, charged both the leaders with distancing themselves from the party and exposing themselves as Royal cronies. He said both the leaders had been suspended from the party a few days back.

He also billed their act of issuing a press statement yesterday as a “last bid to save their image”.

The activities of the leaders duo have been flayed as counter revolutionary.

“We dismiss the claims and accusations of the leaders as baseless,” the statement adds. The statement by the Maoist supremo also said the party has decided upon the agenda of the upcoming general convention of the party and that the two expelled leaders have demonstrated “surrenderist tendency” by speaking against the ideology of the party and were expelled from the party.
