Dissolve people’s govt, says minister Shrestha
Pokhara, June 27 :
Minister for Physical Planning and Works, Gopal Man Shrestha, has said that there would be review on the issue of dissolving parliament in the eight-point agreement between government and Maoists.
Speaking at a party workers meet organised by Nepali Congress (Democratic) today, minister Shrestha said: “There would be review on the issue of dissolving parliament as the regressive forces may hatch conspiracy if the house were dissolved.”
He said except the demand of constituent assembly, all demands of Maoists have been fulfilled by the parliament.
He blamed the Maoists that it was a wrong concept of the Maoists to take the present parliament as “obstruction.”
Expressing concern over the act of taking parliament and peoples’ government of Maoists as parallel, minister Shrestha said as the peoples’ government of the Maoists is not abiding by any rule of law, it should be dissolved immediately.
