Nepalgunj: The police arrested seven persons including district-based leaders and activists of the seven political parties from the Bageshwori tole of Nepalgunj this morning.

The leaders and cadres were engaged in door-to-door campaign to urge the people to boycott the municipal election.

District secretary of the CPN-UML, Devraj Bhar, advisor to Nepali Congress, Dr Arun Koirala, district president of the NC-D, Gajendra Hamal, president of the Nepal Students’ Union, Banke, Tek Narayan Bhusal, and other activists.
