PATHARI, MORANG: Various political parties have started donation drive ahead of the upcoming elections, with industrialists, and traders falling prey to this unethical move.

The political parties call up, and ask for donation, said Ramesh Rathi, treasurer of Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Province 1.

"Many political parties hand a chit asking for donation. We are being affected," he said.

Donations have been  asked for political and religious programmes, an incident affecting industrialists, and traders, said Umesh Sigdel, manager for Bhagawati Carpet Factory.
