Kathmandu, November 13:

International donor agencies are holding an emergency meeting tomorrow at 1 pm to discuss the code of conduct recently enforced on the NGOs, a highly-placed source told this daily today.

The Association of International Non-Government Organisations (INGO) is also holding a meeting tomorrow morning to discuss the same issue.

The NGO Federation Nepal, too, has called an emergency national assembly on November 18 to devise plans for a struggle against the code of conduct enforced by the Social Welfare Council.

The president of the NGO Federation Nepal, Dr Arjun Karki, said presidents of all the 75 district committees of the federation and also the presidents and secretaries of the regional committees have been called for the emergency meet.
