Dozen mourners vote in Sunsari

Sunsari, December 7

As many as 12 mourners cast their ballots in the second phase of provincial and parliamentary elections at Saraswati High School-based voting centre in Dharan Sub-metropolitan City, Sunsari, today.

Journalist Ranadhoj Lohar, along with his brother Biond, in-law Devi Maya and wife Maya cast their ballots.

Ranadhoj and Binod’s father had died recently.

Also, eight other mourners voted at the same polling centre. The voters include Shree Krishna Adhikari, Jamuna Adhikari, Shiva Katwal, Naina Bahadur Katwal, Chandra Bahadur Katwal, Kamala Katwal, Harka Maya Katwal and Durga Katwal.

Similarly, journalist Tirtha Karki, along with his other family members voted at the voting centre after performing his father’s final rites at Chatara-based crematorium, today.

His father Khagda Bahadur Karki had died, aged 78, at 4:00pm yesterday. They cast their ballots at Chandra High School-based polling centre at 2:00pm today.
