KHOTANG: A detailed project report has been prepared for a proposed drinking water project that uses the water-lifting technique in Khotang.

The project, which will lift water from the Dhudhkoshi River, to be supplies across the district, will benefit around 20,000 households in seven VDCs, including Mahadevsthan, Durchhim, Mangaltar, Badahare, Chyasmitar, Dikuwa and Bahunidanda of the Halesi belt.

Work for the Detailed Project Report had started three days ago.
