KATHMANDU: Dr Gunaraj Lohani has been appointed the Executive Director of the Health Insurance Board.

Health Minister Deepak Bohora assigned Dr Lohani with the responsibility of Executive Director until another arrangement is made. It was a decision taken at the minsters-level.

The Health Insurance Act has the provision to appoint Executive Director of the Board through open competition process.
