TANAHAUN: A driver’s assistant has lost his life in a bus accident which occurred at Alubari along the Dumre-Besishar road section on Monday.

27-year-old Gyan Bahadur Tamang of Bhanu Municipality died after the bus en route to board passengers overturned and landed over him, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed.

Tamang breathed his last while undergoing treatment for serious injuries at Laxmi Hospital in Dumre.

Police have detained bus driver Purna Bahadur Tamang (30) of Bhanu Municpality for further investigation.
