Education institutions to form alliance
Kathmandu, February 20:
With an aim to keep educational institutions free from political intervention and advocate educational rights, organisations involved in the education sector have decided
today to form an ‘Educational Alliance’.
A meeting among nine education institutions today have decided to form an alliance, said Bhoj Bahadur Shah, president of Private and Boarding Schools’ Organisation (PBSON), adding that educational institutions have been targeted when various protest programmes were launched in the country.
The meeting was conducted in the presence of PABSON’s members, National Private and Boarding Schools’ Association Nepal, Nepal Teachers’ Union, Teachers’ Association of Nepal, Guardians’ Association of Nepal and others.
