DHADING: Finance Minister Surendra Pande today said the government would allocate 40 per cent of the budget to education sector next fiscal. He was inaugurating a Shrimad Bhagawad Gyan Mahayagya organised for collecting funds to run the science faculty in Bageshwori Higher Secondary School in Malekhu.
The minister said a fully computerised education system would be launched in some districts while each school student would be provided with a laptop next year. He added the government was preparing to allocate budget for multimedia instruction. The minister said the government was effortful to establish 10 big cities in the country, bringing additional 5 million people to the city. Budget would also be allocated for the hilly highway, in a bid to promote agriculture and tourism for the benefit of a large number rural residents.
